Comfortable holiday home for 4 persons in the forest in Holten
This four-person holiday home stands on a large plot of approx. 664 m2 with plenty of privacy and is located in Holten. This property is ideally suited for adults. Because of its location in the woody area Borkeld, the peace and quiet seeker can indulge himself here. Exploring the surroundings on foot, by bike or on horseback is one of the possibilities. In Holten, you will find the most famous mountain of the eastern Netherlands and it is 'only' sixty metres high, yet this is high enough to be a highlight of your visit. In Rijssen, you can find local shops and delicious restaurants. Deventer, the centuries-old Hanseatic city situated on the river IJssel, is also certainly worth a visit.
Layout
The living room has a cosy sitting area with a television and a playstation 3. The kitchen has a cosy dining area and is equipped with an electric hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, kettle and a filter coffee machine. There is a separate toilet on the ground floor. There are two bedrooms with a double bed. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet. In the spacious garden you will find garden furniture and a shed. Two small cars can be parked at the holiday home.

Holten, Overijssel
Holten lies on the border of Salland and Twente: a unique part of the Netherlands that is definitely worth exploring. You will be surprised by the Sallandse Heuvelrug, with the highest point being the Holterberg near Nijverdal, where the last wild grouse in the Netherlands still live. There are special museums in the area, but don't forget the amusement parks. For example, Avonturenpark Hellendoorn is nearby and you will find the Fire Brigade Museum in Rijssen, Wonderryck (nature experience centre) in Denekamp and Rijksmuseum Twenthe in Enschede. There are also lovely swimming pools and several cosy villages and towns in the area. For example, visit Nijverdal, Wierden, Markelo and Goor.
