Idyllically situated holiday home for 2 persons near Medemblik | IJsselmeer

This idyllically situated holiday home for two persons is located in the beautiful village of Twisk, near Medemblik and the IJsselmeer. The modern holiday home is located on the estate of the Beukenhoeve, a farmhouse from 1746. This is an ideal holiday home for lovers of peace, nature, a spacious garden, fishing and bird watching. Every six to seven years, tulips are grown in the same field. This year, 2023, is the year of the tulip fields behind this holiday home! From the garden, the covered terrace or from the bedroom, you can watch the tulips grow and flower. A once-in-a-lifetime, great experience! A day of shopping in Alkmaar or Amsterdam, a day at the North Sea beach, Radboud Castle in Medemblik or to the Zuiderzee Museum in Enkhuizen, just a few ideas for a trip in the vicinity. Come and enjoy!

Layout

Cosily furnished living room with a dining area and a sitting area with Smart TV. The open kitchen includes a dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, four-burner stove, Nespresso, filter coffee machine and a kettle. There is a storage room with a washing machine and a separate toilet. On the first floor there is a bedroom with a comfortable double bed (180 x 220 cm). From the bedroom you climb a comfortable staircase to the cozy single cabin under the ridge of the roof. There is also a bathroom on the first floor with a shower, sink and toilet. Outside you have a lovely garden with a covered veranda with garden furniture. Parking is possible at the holiday home.

Location and surroundings

Twisk, North-Holland

Twisk is a small village with a protected village view just west of Medemblik where you can go for your daily shopping. The old steam tram station can still be admired in Twist. Twist and its surroundings offer a wealth of opportunities for relaxation, beautiful hiking and cycling trips can be made. Also visit Castle Radboud Medemblik, the Dutch Steam Engine Museum, the Zuiderzee Museum or Sprookjeswonderland. The city of Alkmaar is also worth a visit, every Friday you can see the famous cheese market. Nature and the many recreational areas in the area are ideal not only for sailors, but also for surfers, swimmers, sunbathers and anglers.

Das Haus ist viel besser, als die Beschreibung auf der Heerlijkehuisjes-Homepage erwarten ließ. Ein wahres Kleinod. Und auch die Umgebung bietet sehr viel, wenn man Fahrrad fahren möchte.

Erg vriendelijke ontvangst. Leuk huisje met fantastische buitenruimte. Heerlijke slaapkamer. Woongedeelte wat krap. Maar al met al een aan te raden vakantieverblijf in een prachtige omgeving.
