In need of a quiet holiday? This modern holiday home, suitable for six people, is located in the woods of Wateren, in the middle of De Boterpol. Here you will enjoy peace and quiet, surrounded by woods, heathland and fens. The holiday home offers plenty of privacy and a beautiful view of the woods and meadows, where you can regularly spot wildlife and rare birds. Situated on the edge of National Park Drents-Friese Wold, this is the perfect base for peace seekers and nature lovers. The area is known for its extensive hiking and cycling routes, allowing you to discover the unspoilt nature at your own pace. Besides the beautiful nature, there are also charming villages in the area, such as Appelscha, Diever, Vledder and Frederiksoord. In Appelscha, you can take the children on a trip to Verkeers- en Attractiepark Duinen Zathe.

Layout

The cosy living room is furnished with a comfortable seating and dining area and features a television. The entire house has underfloor heating. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and features a spacious cooking island. It includes an induction hob, dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle and filter coffee maker. The house has three bedrooms: two rooms with a luxurious double Auping bed (180x200) and a third bedroom with a bunk bed. The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet. There is also an extra, separate toilet. Outside, you can enjoy the spacious garden with a furnished terrace. A charging post is available for electric cars.

The Drents-Friese Wold is the second largest continuous forest area in the Netherlands after the Veluwe. The nature reserve is known for its many hiking and cycling routes, as well as adventurous mountain bike trails and opportunities for covered wagon rides. Around Wateren you will find nice trips and many attractions: for example, visit the Miramar Sea Museum, the Drents Museum or enjoy a wellness break at Sauna Het Friese Woud. For a wonderful day out (with your children) you can visit the ancient dolmens in Havelte or Attractiepark Duinen Zathe. Would you like a day of shopping or a terrace? Then you are in the right place in Steenwijk or Assen.
